1-What is IV hydration?
IV hydration therapy is fluid administered via a catheter. IV treatments are used for their effectiveness in delivering
nutrients to the body in a form optimized for 100% absorption and bioavailability.
2-What happens when a client arrives at the clinic?
Staff will go over the consent forms, review an overall health history, and conduct a physical assessment
(Good Faith Exam) to ensure that you can safely proceed with the infusion.
3-What is a good faith exam?
A GFE is conducted for all new clients and whenever there is a change of condition to ensure that you can
safely proceed with infusion. It is good for one year.
4-How often can I get an IV infusion?
If you are in good health, you can safely get an IV infusion every two weeks.
5-What is the most popular IV infusion?
The most popular IV therapy is the Myers cocktail. It includes magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, B12, B-complex and vitamin C. Add-ons such as zinc and glutathione can be added for an additional fee.
6-Can I add different ingredients to my IV drip?
Yes, you can add different ingredients to your drip and customize it.
7-Does an IV infusion hurt?
An IV catheter is inserted into your vein for access, so you may feel a slight bit of pressure at the entry point,
which should only last for a second.
8-Is there any risk associated with an IV infusion?
Typically no. There can be some temporary minor bruising, redness, or pain at the injection site. More serious
complications are extremely rare. It is important to be transparent with clinic staff about allergies,
medications, medical conditions, electrolytes abnormalities, etc.
9-Can I receive IV therapy if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Not at this time.
10-Can children receive IV therapy?
No. IV therapy is only for adults 18 years of age or older.
11-Who cannot receive IV infusions?
Most anymore in general good health may receive an IV treatment. There are some contraindications such
as:
• Kidney disease/failure
• Liver cirrhosis
• Congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or heart arrythmias
• Bleeding/clotting disorders
12-How long does it take?
Most of our infusion can take 45 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the IV therapy and how you tolerate the
infusion.
13-Do you take health insurance?
No. IV therapy is considered an elective procedure and is not covered by health insurance. We accept cash,
credit cards, debit cards, Veno, PayPal, or Cash App.
14-Where do you get your vitamins from?
At LV Health and Wellness LLC, we use only the highest quality pharmaceutical grade micronutrients for our
IV infusions. Our specialized infusion pharmacies are approved FDA 503B outsourcing facilities.
15-Do you offer private party or group rates for IV therapy?
Yes. Please call for special group rates and packages. Also call for group booking.
